The Gertrude Association (not for profit) is a volunteer run group dedicated to exhibiting contemporary new media. Since 2008, it has produced outdoor site-specific projection-art events that exhibit professional, emerging and community artists. The Association’s premier event is the annual Gertrude Street Projection Festival. Other events have been produced in Melbourne and on King Island as part of the Tasmanian Arts Festival, Ten days on the Island. Various team members have a range of projects in development.
