  2. We will email you payment details
  3. Pay online
  4. Come to the next meeting and sign your form or fax back
  5. Enjoy being part of the 'Gertrufying' movement!

As a member of The Gertrude Association you will be able to provide ideas and feedback, attend our meetings and special events, and vote at the Annual General Meeting. Members also receive our newsletter, can volunteer at our public events, and we have special members only gatherings. The membership joining fee is $25 with an annual subscription of $10. So the total initial fee is $35.

The Gertrude Association is a not for profit, Incorporated Association that produces projects expressed by the Fitzroy Community.

WHAT

We are about advocacy and connections through art. We are about celebrating cultural, social and artistic diversity to create community connectedness. We call this process Gertrufy.

WHERE

The Association was inspired and created by the Community on Gertrude St, Fitzroy in Melbourne Australia.

We act local to provide inspiration and create a global impact by sharing what we have done Melbourne with the world.

We call our process of integrating Community, Celebration and Art to 'Gertrufy'

AIM

To produce projects expressed by the Fitzroy Community.
We would like to see the ‘Gertrufy' spirit spread to other cities, communities and Towns.

OUR OBJECTIVES

  1. To help promote a neighbourly cohesive community
  2. To provide opportunities to encounter art as part of an everyday experience
  3. To promote inclusive cultural respect
  4. To produce interconnected projects that raise awareness of issues, profiles and creative talents and to give support to our community
